Understanding how the guitar works
and to play like your favourite artist is a relatively easy goal to achieve.
Through perseverance and practice you will quickly see the results and
within 6-12 months, be playing with the in-house students band at one
of our many shows. The key to playing the guitar well
is understanding from day one how chords and scales work and why, rather
than trying to memorize shapes and reading tab, although this is fine
to turn to as a helping hand once in a while.
We run a large music concert each year for all students to perform with a live band, so this is a great project to set your sights on and use as a goal, as well as recording your songs in our studio.
